Great home with a lot of space to spread out. We loved the third floor balcony in the morning. Very close grocery store and restaurants.

We LOVED our stay! The house is on a quiet street and easily walkable to restaurants and night life. We were pleasantly surprised with how spacious the house is. It’s a beautifully restored home with so much charm. We are grateful to Gerardo and Ro for being so accommodating with check-in/out. Couldn’t be more pleased!

We had a great stay at Gerardo’s place. Walking distance to a Mercado where the food was great and inexpensive. Close to a grocery store and market where we bought delicious and fresh fruits that were locally grown - papayas and mangoes. We walked around the neighborhood a lot. Close to several parks. Our group of 5 had plenty of space. There are three beds that couples can share and there is another sofa bed that is very comfortable too. There are three levels. The first level has the kitchen, dining, and living room. The second level has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The 3rd level is a large space with a bed and sofa bed and it also has a bathroom and the balcony. It can get hot on the 3rd level but there is a ceiling fan and another fan to cool it down. It wasn’t really an issue. The home with its antiques looks like a mini museum. There are no rules on checkout which was refreshing for an AirBNB. The host was very accommodating and responsive.

Our family of 4 adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Mori for 8 days. The house was decorated with antiques yet still modern evoking an understated elegance with soaring ceilings and marble staircase. The kitchen/house was well appointed. Two bedrooms on the 2nd floor each had a bathroom with a third bedroom/bathroom on the 3rd floor with a seating area plus an outdoor terrace. The house was squeaky clean, and as other reviews have stated, the caretaker has a private room on the 3rd floor with separate stairs to the shared kitchen. She was hospitable and discreet but we rarely saw her except to exchange pleasantries. Just a note that the house is not air conditioned; however, all bedrooms have fans and with the windows open at night, was comfortable in late March. Within walking distance are lots of restaurants, bars, pharmacies, a mini mall at the end of José Alvarado St including a hospital nearby, which we had to visit. We would stay at Casa Mori again next time we visit!

We had a lively first time visit to Mexico City and the Airbnb helped make it memorable. It had lots of room and a great location.
