A gorgeous little cottage in the Northumberland countryside, the scenery was so peaceful and relaxing and the property itself was extremely well maintained, clean, and homely. Will definitely be rebooking if I’m staying in the same area again!

It was a bitterly cold easterly wind when we arrived and the hostess tray of wine, chocolates and drinks was a lovely touch. As it had been a very cold day it did take a moment to get some heat into the lounge. Some logs had been provided but we were glad we took 2 extra bags as we certainly made good use of the log burner. The cottage is beautiful and quiet and is in a perfect location for the observatory. The house was very clean with modern fittings. The beds were very comfortable. Despite the wet cold weather we had a lovey time in the cottage and enjoyed a very chilled out weekend away.

Beautiful accommodation and area. Exactly as described. The weather was a bit grim so didn't really venture out but it was a beautiful area and seems like there is plenty of walking opportunities. I had contacted early on asking about putting up decorations but never heard back, it was suggested I message and discuss rather than just do it. As I never heard back I just didn't do it. I heard from them about check in with clear instructions. Lots of info in the cottage and leaflets about the surrounding area. A nice welcome tray with wine, teas and coffee etc which I thought was a nice touch.

We had a wonderful stay. The place and surroundings are so beautiful it looked like a painting. It was very peaceful and we loved walking beside the lake in the backyard. Everything indoors is well maintained and clean.
