We had glorious weather and then dramatic winds and rain squalls. The weather changes make Lewis so famous for its rainbows. The location beside the water allows you to look at the waves which change to large whitecaps in the storms. The house is warmly compact and well heated with wall thermostat controls in each room and a working wood stove in one room. The kitchen is exceptionally well-presented with appliances and many tools, even down to a retro steampunk-style kettle and toaster. Lots of towels, dishcloths etc. The beds are very comfortable with nice beside reading lights within easy reach. The Wi-Fi works very well. The keypad lock worked flawlessly. Off-road parking is right by the door and the two outdoor wooden. seating areas are such a delight when the sun is out. Bring binoculars if you can as there are many deer and birds. to watch. I would recommend this place at the top of the list of places to stay on Lewis.

An amazing place with beautiful surroundings. A clean and tidy cottage that has been well maintained. Nice bathroom, beds were comfy and the kitchen was great. Unfortunately the weather was not kind so didn’t get an opportunity to sit in the outdoor area! Highly recommend!!

Kevin’s home is warm and welcoming and the location is breathtaking! Kevin gave clear directions and was very responsive and friendly. The home offers a great base station to explore the beautiful island and many historic sites. It’s recommended to get groceries in time as there are not many stores around. But this really applies to all the islands. We really enjoyed our mini stay and will be back when life allows :-)

My family of four had a lovey, brief stay at Seahaven. The bed in the primary bedroom is the most comfortable we’ve had so far during our three week vacation in Scotland. We enjoyed breakfast outside at the picnic table each morning; the loch side location with sheep in the distance was an enjoyable start to the day. Kevin and Gail had two binders of information: one on the history of the home and the other with details for our stay. Perfect secluded location for a quiet retreat yet close enough to explore both Lewis and Harris easily.

Great stay, We loved the views on the sea from each window, the garden was great with ducks swinging by. The house is great, calm, great bedding and the kitchen is very practical.
