This house is in an exquisite setting: classic New England waterfront situation with beautiful views. There could be more “homey” touches, as it feels that it is managed by a corporation (which it is) and not a family. The sheets seemed cheap and made of an artificial fiber that wasn’t pleasant to the touch. It is also on a rather busy road with considerable traffic noise. Nevertheless, we loved our stay and would definitely consider staying again with our own linens!

Although the front of the house is on a busy street, the water views out back make up for any car noise. The property was very nice and we loved our stay.

Great spot to host Thanksgiving dinner. It is a very well-stocked house, and is clean, uncluttered, and has a spacious entertaining space. The views from the back deck at sunset are spectacular! The gift basket was a really nice touch. It even had a potatoe masher, baster, and wine!

The Cape Ann area was lovely for a family vacation. The house has tremendous views. Spacious and well-appointed. Great spot to soak in the water views. Very comfortable.

Aptly named, Sunset Cove affords exquisite views of the sun setting over the Annisquam river. The house itself is lovely and full of light, and held our family of 5 comfortably. There is easy walking access to Squam Rock, the AYC, and the Willow Rest for breakfast or lunch. The kitchen was well appointed, and one of my favorite features was the master bathroom - a huge shower, built in closet, and lots of space. The bedrooms are also well-sized and the loft upstairs delighted our 12-year old. We had everything we needed to have a wonderful week. The imperfect aspects did not detract from our enjoyment of the place at all. I was glad I brought earplugs since the house is on a busy stretch of Washington Street and there can be a fair amount of traffic noise at night (we're early-to-bed people, so I think it quiets down eventually!) Be sure and bring extra things like dishwashing and laundry detergent if you're cook-at-home and need-to-do laundry people. Atlantic Vacation was very transparent about the limited supplies provided, which was appreciated so we could prepare. In terms of the overall cost, the service fees and occupancy taxes and fees were a surprisingly large percentage of the overall cost, so just double-check that if you're keeping an eye on expenses. Again, none of this took away from our enjoyment! The outdoor space is so lovely - the gazebo is ideal for looking out over the river, and there is a bar space that made our cookouts just perfect. Overall, a place we would definitely return to.
