girls weekend. perfect location. everything was easy to get to. property needs some tlc. bit it did make all us of feel like we were at home.

The space was lovely and access to the beach was perfect. We enjoyed our time in the house, especially the beautiful back porch. The overall experience was smooth and the hosts were very communicative.
The owner texted us prior to our arrival and met us on the property. There was no lockbox for the key, but he showed us where it was inside. He also showed us around the property and where certain items were. The house is three house rows back from the ocean and an easy walk to the beach. The Long Beach area is wonderful and there were plenty of beach chairs and towels available to use. The back deck (as shown in the pictures) overlooks a swampy area where herons and egrets come to feed. There is no view of the ocean except for a sliver of a view from one of the bedrooms on the second floor. You can hear the ocean waves at night from the house. The property is dated and could use new blinds and some other repairs, but served 6 adults just fine. There is a deli/ice cream place within walking distance, a grocery store about a mile away, and the quaint town of Rockport is a short 5 minute drive.
