We were in Amsterdam and drove to Paris where we booked this place. It really looked amazing and I was thinking 5 Star accommodations. But, the reality is this is a very average apartment with a great view. That’s it, you pay for a great view. I would have rather paid the same amount for a nice hotel without a view of the Eiffel Tower! I was surprised by how run down the apartment complex was, I retrieved the keys from an open mailbox, and when I got to the 10th floor, it seemed very seedy and smelled of cigarette smoke. But, once inside the apartment I felt okay. Let’s face it, this place is 3 stars, but the view is 5 stars. We had two nights here and unfortunately because of the price will look elsewhere next time because I already saw the view. Also, the host asked me not to leave a review if it wasn’t going to be 5 stars? Is that a French thing, because that doesn’t fly in America. Sorry, have to leave a real review, 5 star location, but expect 3 star accommodations!

Spent 6 nights here with my 2 kids. We wanted to live like locals and there were plenty of places to walk to nearby. The beds were super comfy/clean, and the balcony/view was amazing- only wish it had been warmer to spend more time out there. Things to note if staying here: It was great to have a washer and we did 3 loads, but there is no dryer so a rack is provided to hang dry your clothes. Heads up on the bed- it is not an American size King - felt more like a queen. The coffee machine didn’t work when I was there and only 3 expresso pods were provided- so I just bought bottled coffee to wake up with. I had read all the reviews before coming, and yes the hallways smells, and yes the toilet is not in the same room as the shower, and the communication with the host was likely robot responses, but these things weren’t dealbreakers for me. I would definitely stay here again because my favorite part was coming home and watching the Eiffel Tower twinkle every night.
