Just overall a perfect place to stay and an overall perfect experience

Lovely lakeside cottage that has it all. There is a large equipped kitchen and dining room, a spacious comfortable living room and washer/dryer. But best of all are the outdoor dining table, deck with covered seating and fire table, another fire pit out in the yard and a great dock with plenty of seating. The house is located on the west side of Lake Seneca with gorgeous views of the sunrise and plenty of wildlife viewing. There are many wineries and eateries close by but it's an easy drive to Watkins Glen, Geneva and Ithaca. Hiking is excellent with challenging gorge climbs with waterfalls around every turn. The one thing we regret was not swimming in the lake. It is perfectly clear and inviting but it was just not hot enough for us to take the plunge. We hope to return during a warmer season for a dip.

This was our 3rd year in a row visiting the Cottage to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It has become our dream home away from home but without the loud highway noise! It is so peaceful with spectacular sunrises and cloud formations to take in. We just can't think of staying anywhere else. Everything is always so clean and tidy with all we need for a comfortable stay. There is always so much to do in the area and surrounding lakes. We visited new wineries and the Corning Museum of Glass for the first time. We came prepared with bottled water and there was plenty of fresh bagged ice. Highly recommend as always. Kim is the best!

Excellent location on Seneca Lake. Great cottage for a week with the family. The host communicated promptly and there were no issues. Would love to return in the future.

This place is adorable. Perfect for one or two couples who want to escape to the lakeside. (Great birdwatching!) The pictures are accurate and the set up was perfect, utilizing the space well while providing plenty of places to sit and relax. We especially appreciated the kayaks, which were in great condition. My only suggestion to future renters is bring some bottled water because the tap water has a heavy sulfur smell/taste, which I hear is common in this region. (Shower water is treated and was fine.)
