I'm glad I stayed there. Very interesting house and Valente, the host is a fine man, friendly, hospitable and great to talk with. We talked a LOT in my few days there. I was glad to meet him and learned some things. Soon after arriving, Valente walked me to central market so I could get food supplies for the morning. On departure, he again walked with me side-by-side out to the main road, where he hailed a 'collectivo' (minibus) to take me back to San Cristobal de Las Casas. Altogether, a pleasant and interesting stay.
