Great cottage in a beautiful location. Garden, and the snowdrops were stunning. The only downside was the very low ceilings. Anyone of average height is likely to hit their head on the beam in the kitchen. This was mentioned in other reviews, and expected in an old cottage, but was not mentioned in the description.

Walnut Tree Cottage is lovely, what you see in the pictures is what you get! However a lack of the personal touchs and essentials such as toilet paper, kitchen paper, tin foil etc. Also there was a very large stain on the living room carpet which was quite off putting. We read that for stays over one week a house keeper would visit, we assumed for changing towels and sheets but nobody ever came, the garden although it was very nice definitely needed mowing and the shrubs needed cutting back as it was very overgrown. Over all we enjoyed our stay but was a little disappointed on the upkeep of the property and it definitely lacks the small touches that makes a very big difference to feeling welcome.

A lovely cottage, near enough to Faversham for getting supplies, but far enough away from everyone for an important bit of peace and quiet. it's the sort of place you can't stay at only once, despite the risk of head injury from the low beams. a large section of hedge has been removed from the garden, which is a shame as we always liked the cocooned feel. still - lovely cottage, great location, lovely garden, and a log burner. We will of course be back.

What a breathtakingly beautiful place! It's a lovely area with lots to do, but our preference was to just stay in place & relax in the total piece and quiet! The garden is wonderful and we spent much of our time sitting out with a cup of tea as the pheasants (who seemed to be there all the time) busied himself around us. We loved the cottage! It blends its quirky charm with all the creature comforts you'd want to give you a warm and cozy spot to truly unwind. Bloom themselves were also incredibly helpful & accommodating. We booked an alternate properly with them but, due to problems our end, we had to cancel. Because of the way this was handled, we sought to search for Bloom-hosted properties specifically, and that’s how we came across this Gem. That level of service continued throughout; we were never made to feel like a request was too much. We will defiantly be searching ‘Bloom’ again... Couldn’t recommend Walnut Tree Cottage highly enough! this will not be our last stay here!
