Free access to the beach minutes away from JFK and under an hour to Manhattan. Rockaways provides an opportunity to surf all year round. The perfect escape from the city’s hustle. Great accommodation for large groups ample outdoor seating. People from all background are welcome. The entire home is equipped with high speed WIFI. I designed and decorate this space with my guests in mind. The skill and drive are mine, but they are fueled by much more than me.. MODERN TOUCH/ SURFERS PARADISE 🏄🏄♂️🏄. LISTED JULY 2020! RETURN AUGUST 11TH 2023! This home will be exclusively yours for the duration of your stay. Enjoy our comfortable deck or patio with all amenities and essentials for an outdoor barbecue. It’s a perfect destination for couples, Business travelers Surfers pilots flight attendants and families with kids. YOU would have an in- person welcome. And a super clean home stocked with all your must-haves. IT’S A PLACE YOU WANT TO BE! Arverne Queens is walking distance to the official surfing beach/ Surfboards rental store. NEW COFFEE STORE, THE LOCAL IS KNOWN FOR GREAT BRUNCH COFFEE & TEA. The boardwalk is a short walk or Ride. And we are steps away from the New Rockaway beach Brewing CO. It’s perfect for a weekend getaway close to the city or for Out of Town visitors who want to enjoy NYC but also spend a few days on the beach. NOTE THE SLEEPING ACCOMMODATIONS. Bedroom 1: Have one queen bed that sleeps two. Bedroom 2: Have one adult twin bed, that sleep one & a queen bed that sleep 2. Bedroom 3: HAS A SEPARATE ENTRANCE! It is a Private suite with walk in closet And a full bathroom . A queen bed that sleeps two and a portable crib if needed upon Request. A mini retro refrigerator Microwave Mini coffee machine. There is a desk with WIFI to get YOUR WORK DONE. Also a smart TV if you want to stream movies or just want to sit and Relax or take it out to the porch. JFK Airport is 3 stops with the A Train Convenient for those transferring at JFK!

It was my first time out in Rockaway, and we had a wonderful time, and Tara's cottage is superb -- very comfortably and well furnished, great outdoor space to also enjoy, and an easy 5 to 10 minute walk to some restaurants and the beach, but Tara was also amazingly friendly and helpful and happy to offer to drive us somewhere if we needed, which we did not -- but that is a perfect example of how thoughtful and helpful she is. Definitely would stay here again on future visits!

Our stay was amazing! Tara was a great host, the place is beautiful and we look forward to staying there again.
Tara did an amazing job making us all feel super safe, and for providing everything we could need. Towels were super soft, and she even gave us slippers to wear around the apartment! It truly felt like a special experience. The decorations were so nice, so much better than just a boring standard apartment. We loved the backyard too and the grill was awesome! Tara was super responsive to anything we asked about and really made sure we had an awesome experience. Highly recommended!!
The stay with Tara was absolutely amazing. The pictures could not be a more accurate depiction of her lovely home. She stayed in contact with me throughout our entire stay and was always available to answer any questions about the place. She went above and beyond to make sure my group was comfortable and satisfied. I would absolutely book with Tara again and would recommend her place to anyone looking for a nice relaxing stay by the beach. Would give 10 stars if I could!

The Rockaway is known for it’s amazing ocean & bay view sunset
Along with the fresh sea air.
Take a 2 mins walk to the bay great view also if you love fishing that’s a great spot.
Take a stroll on the newly constructed boardwalk.
within walking distance you can find unique restaurants where
You would meet locals in unusual
and interesting settings, great food and drinks in a very cool community.
Stop & shop supermarket with all essentials.

The local coffee shop served brunch.
Also Dunkin Donuts is 10 mins walk from the house.
The YMCA with two pools is just
10mins walk.
The brewery walking distance from the home.
Thai Rock Restaurant is know for delicious food and drinks also great view of the water and their jet ski rental with live band.

Note:
Surf rentals and surf lessons everyday on the beach during the
Summer for those looking for some exciting water sport.
Also rippers along the boardwalk it’s known for delicious breakfast & dinner with live music!
The brewery is a great place to relax and enjoy delicious food and drinks.
And meeting people visiting the Rockaways.
THERE’S FREE SAFE STREET PARKING!
If you need to park you can also used my driveway, let me know in advance so it can be available.
It can be in front the house or across the street from the house.
The A train is about 10mins walk away from the home, it would take you to Manhattan in about 50 to 60 mins.
Also there is local taxi cost $5
From the house to the train station.
Their’s the ferry shuttle or the Q22 bus to the ferry.
YES THE FERRY WOULD TAKE YOU TO LOWER MANHATTAN!
Just download the App for the ferry Schedule.
If you’re an intern we are 13 mins driving to
St. John hospital.
Also the Q22 bus stop in front the hospital.
There is lime bike at every corner
Which is convenient if you would
