The outdoor area was the best. We had great weather and spent a lot of our time on the screened in porch which had a great view of the lake.

The house was comfortable and clean. The view and patio were wonderful. The dock was wonderful to sit out on and fish. loved being able to kayak. The bay it sits on is peaceful and clean. You can see the lake also. Appreciated being able to bring my little pup and she enjoyed the yard and dock. but will leave her at home next time cause boats, observatory, and other places were not dog friendly. lesson learned. lol

We had a great long weekend stay for my moms 81st birthday and she caught a whole mess of blue gill right from the dock in no time. The walk down to the water was easy enough for her and we really enjoyed our stay. It is almost an hour round trip to the closest market, even for fresh bait so plan ahead and stop on your way in. Once you get to this peaceful hideaway, you won't want to leave.

Very clean, well kept and well stocked small home. It was a little smaller than I would have liked but it worked just fine for four adults. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking. It turns out we needed to go a little earlier in the season to find restaurants on the water that are both good and open. Cypress was definitely not the place to go! Anyway, if you are looking for a clean, well-situated albeit small rental, this is a good find. The management company, Evolve, is a little slow on responses and didn't always answer my questions but finally came around. The residential 'contact' once I made the reservation was fantastically quick to respond to all questions and was very helpful.
