It was exactly what we were needing, it’s very quite and private, the area is very beautiful and the neighbors were nice, highly recommending this place, I know we are definitely looking forward to going back

Such a wonderful home and location! This is my family’s 4th year in a row to stay at the Hawk’s Nest and we keep coming back because there are so many things to love about it. Always spotless, well appointed, and an unbeatable cove location with calm water that can be enjoyed with the supplied kayaks, lily pad, paddle boat, and just hanging out on the dock. The fireplace house is such a unique and awesome feature as well. This home is lovingly maintained — always something new and improved. Jerico is quick to respond if you need to get in touch and great to work with. We feel lucky we’ve been able to make some wonderful family memories here over the years. Thanks again Jerico and family for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful view , never really left the wonderful dock or screened in porch !! Kids loved all the stuff to do !! Kayaks and Lilly pad were the main attractions for them , would definitely return !!

The house and location were awesome for a nice quiet getaway, especially on the weekdays. AC worked great in the blistering hot weather! The hillside across the cove provides some shade from the setting sun so sunset is a little earlier, great for campfires. The driveway/road is a little sketchy. There are some pretty steep hills with loose gravel. AWD or 4WD vehicles won't have any issues, but heavy two wheel drive vehicles like mini vans might struggle to get up some of the hills without slipping. I had to take a second running try at one of the hills with my front wheel drive car but made it out ok. Overall this place was excellent!
