At a comfy 600 sq ft, situated in a garden setting, you'll share space with a private hot tub & Leonard, the towering 100+ ft Redwood, keeping watch. Inside, a water view of Pickleweed Inlet+Bothin Marsh takes center stage. Driveway parking, Bus & Airporter nearby. Minutes from Muir Woods shuttle! Upon your arrival, the Bathhouse comes stocked with basics to start your journey right, featuring homemade bread, coffee & cream and more! We're avid cooks so we’ve stocked the kitchen with quality cookware and a generous pantry: EVOO, spices, grains, oatmeal, pasta, to name a few. Some nights, during twilight, the Sausalito foghorn can be heard through an open window, reminding us of our proximity to Karl, the fog, and the SF Bay.

Super comfy and restful. Kitchen is so well equipped. Perfect for assembling a meal and cooking. The hot tub is just out the front door and she had really large beach towels on hand for drying off.
Excellent place to call home away from home while on the sunny side of the bay
if you want a spectacular weekend, stay at the Bathhouse. cozy, beautiful, private, and a short drive to the best redwoods, donuts, and fresh fish around. can't wait to stay again!
Suzanne was warm and thoughtful. There are so many little touches that make this listing special! We absolutely loved spending time in the tub to end long days exploring San Francisco and Marin.
My husband and I were so relaxed in this space, that we rarely left the house. I took naps each afternoon in the very comfortable bed. The kitchen has a beautiful view, so we found ourself cooking our meals instead of going out to eat. The backyard was private and charming and filled with trees. We even went on evening strolls, as the location was walking distance to a park & path along the water. I highly recommend this lovely home!

Our lovely property is within the Almonte district of Mill Valley, atop a steep hill with just 6 homes. Surrounded by clusters of Redwood trees, the sun is usually shining and we don't experience the infamous fog that seeps into many parts of Mill Valley.
Mill Valley is many things - both a sophisticated, little town and a little bit 60's throwback. "Old" Mill Valley lured SF city dwellers to its hippie charm amongst the towering Redwoods and hundreds of trails on iconic Mount Tamalpais (Tam, as the locals call it).
Today, there's something for all tastes. With five distinct neighborhoods for tasty food and eclectic shopping, you can likely catch a Grateful Dead member at the storied Sweetwater; take in a comedy show or musical at the Throckmorton and Marin Theatre; go thrift and consignment shopping at local fav's Mt. Carmel Shop and Diamonds in the Rough; grab a mountain bike at beloved Tam Bikes, pack a picnic from the all-organic grocer, Good Earth, and get the workout of a lifetime on the birthplace of mountain biking - Tam.
Mill Valley is centrally located; whether you desire undeveloped, open space to hike and explore or quick access to SF, Wine Country and beach towns, everything is close by.
