If you are looking to stay in a beautiful cottage by the lake with a rich history, amazing views and plenty of extras - then this is your home away from home. Elizabeth really has thought of everything. Our family of five enjoyed our week (too brief!) together hanging out on the porch, on the beach, even inside on a rainy evening. All the extras like a hammock on the porch, beach chairs/umbrella/kayaks/oversized floats, ready to go fire at the beach, sweet little shelter with a bench on the beach and extra blankets for cool mornings and evenings on the porch. Lots of privacy on the beach and at the cottage but the neighbors were really friendly too. And shared some history of the cottages. Take time to read material about the 116 year old cottage. Also plenty of beach and boardwalk to roam. This is not a place for all of your modern gadgets, it’s a place to put them away and re-connect with yourself, loved ones and nature. Elizabeth was a great host. Very responsive. The house is lovely. It's nestled in the woods raised above the beach with a beautiful view of Lake Michigan. It's large and comfortable. Good beds! Very clean. We were there with family and the house was wonderful to hang out in. It has a large living room where everyone can congregate and enough other areas for anyone who wanted some privacy. It also has a large screened-in porch facing the lake. The beach is long and wide, good for long walks. We would absolutely stay here again.

Really special place. It feels like you’ve got miles of private pristine Michigan beach to yourself. Waking up and going to sleep with the windows open and waves crashing. The place itself is wonderful. Comfy beds, good shower pressure, plenty of lounge spots and tons of warm blankets for cool evenings. Location is prime and you’ll find yourself never wanting to leave the house or beach to venture into pentwater. 100% would stay again
