THE BEST. Daisy’s home in pentwater had everything that we were looking for. The home itself had plenty of space for all our 6 guests, with lots of room to spare. It was very clean with cute knick-knacks, and a homey nostalgic feel. Lots of fans inside for on the hotter days. The overlook deck (point) overlooking the lake is so beautiful and we loved eating dinner out there. The private beach was incredible, and so clean. We had a blast enjoying the beach the entire weekend. Sitting on the deck to watch the stars was one of our favorite activities as there is no light pollution in the area. We saw several shooting stars in the sky and were all in awe. We were sad to have to leave such an amazing place. I would definitely recommend, and hope to return.

I have been going to Pentwater for over 40 years and have seen many sunsets from the state park beach and they are always breathtaking. Sitting on the deck at Daisy’s and watching the sunset was a different experience that my family and myself were not expecting. Every night was amazing. We made memories every day on the private beach and then relaxed and enjoyed dinner and the sunset on the deck. It is called the best view in Pentwater on the listing page, and it does not disappoint. This place exceeded all of our expectations. With a group ranging from ages 12-72, we had a wonderful time. Daisy was awesome and hopefully things align and we can rent it again. Thank you for providing us with such an amazing place. My entire family came away for the experience better off. Thank you.

Perfect vacation rental and location for family of 6. The cabin was as described if not better than expected. It was well stocked, organized and clean. The views of the lake and the private beach were outstanding. I personally enjoyed dinners on the deck(the point) with the most spectacular sunsets over Lake Michigan to follow. We spent most of the days enjoying the beach and the water. The cabin had everything we needed - beach chairs, umbrellas, toys for the kids you name it. We did have one day of all day rain.. No worries, the cabin had a ton of board games that kept us entertained. We were very aware of the amount of stairs as described. It didn’t bother us one bit. Daisy was an awesome host, she was very communicative and informative. She had everything labeled in the cabin which made it super easy and worry free to find things. I would recommend the cabin to anyone looking for a nice getaway. The Hamilton family

The pros—(1) Daisy and her mother Bev were so incredibly responsive and helpful! They have us a really good sense of what to expect and things to do in the area. (2) Additionally, the location was absolutely amazing. Right on an amazing private beach with great sand and calm waters. Location can’t be beat. The patio is outstanding and offers incredible views. The cons— (1) the lack of a/c made a summer beach rental nearly unbearable. The kids and adults had trouble sleeping in the heat and humidity, even with fans on. (2) The place wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. The carpets made our feet dirty, there was old food sitting under the couches, the trash can had old food on the lid left behind from previous guests, the tubs had mildew, and there was an unpleasant odor coming out of the 2nd bathroom. I didn’t love having our young children crawl around on the floor and put everything in their mouths. (3) there was a pretty terrible fruit fly infestation that made eating or drinking in the house a challenge. (4) the basement bedroom is only accessible via going outside, not via inside the house. We had counted on that bedroom for our young children but the fact that it wasn’t accessible from the house made it not work for a sleeping space, which made things tough for our group. Overall I would say the location and the hospitality were great but the cons were quite a challenge for our group.

Great beach house. Lots and lots of stairs, but we didn't care. My whole family loved it....from the 11 year old to the 70+ year old. Kitchen is small but stocked and it was not a problem. Perfect vacation. Beautiful views of woods and beach. Almost like living in a treehouse.
