My girlfriend and I stayed for 3 days over a weekend. The little 2 person hot tub was very cute, and curtains on the porch allow for some privacy and double as a shield from the wind if you’re not intimidated by winter temps. The view from the hot tub is great, overlooking some mountains in the distance. There are other cabins pretty nearby, but as I said the curtains are a nice privacy feature. Everything in the cabin was clean, it was nice having tortilla quiche and pumpkin spice pancakes brought to us in the mornings we ate breakfast there. I got there in a normal car, no truck needed to access the cabin. Everything you’d want is within about 40 minutes of the cabin. Galax has some attractions, such as the Old Cranks car museum, and Mt. Airy, NC has plenty of places to eat and shop. We’d definitely come back here.

If you are looking for relaxation, rustling tree, a great breakfast, wonderful hot tub with pristine views and sunsets, a great night sleep, great hiking and a sweet little near by town. This is the place for you. This little cabin had it all and more. My husband and I spent 2 nights here and it was not near enough. Can't say enough how you will enjoy your time at Fiddler's Roost. I'm afraid it may just get to popular and leave no vacant days to return. Thank you for the best AirBNB I've been to.

Our stay was simply magical. This cabin has such a relaxing atmosphere, that you feel like you have your own little slice of heaven. The hosts were fantastic and breakfast is to die for!

The Bear Run cabin was such a fun getaway for us. We absolutely loved the homey cabin feel and the breakfasts were SO amazing. Unfortunately there was a ton of fog while we were there but the experience was still dk worth it. We live about 7hrs away and will absolutely be back! 10/10 would recommend!
