We’ve just got back from a wonderful week away at Ysgubor. The property matched its description, and the rooms were spacious yet cosy, making it very easy to relax. The bed was very comfy, and the back garden was perfect for our black Labrador! We do believe a car is necessary to truly enjoy everything Ysgubor and the surrounding areas such as St Dogmaels and Cardigan have to offer. Similarly to Anna from London’s review, the property is very clean in terms of bedding, toilet, sinks etc, but we did notice the high ceilings do hold quite a lot of cobwebs. All which could easily be resolved using an extendable duster. We did have a negative experience with the shower drain being blocked, which ultimately flooded the entire bathroom, so we did need to reach out to Emma and Megan regarding this. Overall we had a really relaxing and enjoyable stay at Ysgubor, and would stay again if we ever wanted to re-visit the area. 😊 Please note: You must set the oven clock before trying to use it.

The place was great! Two of us stayed as a little get away for a birthday trip and it was perfect. The living area is large with a TV, dining space, and good little kitchen to cook. Also there are a few books and games for entertainment. The bedroom is large and the bed was very comfy! Everything is nicely decorated. There is heating and also a wood fire to keep you warm (necessary for wales in November!) and everything such as the shower worked well. The location was good for us, as we hired a car, but I’m not sure how easy it would be without one. The hosts gave us lots of recommendations for things to do, walks, places to eat etc which was nice. The only minor negative thing I have to say is that the place could have done with a bit more of a thorough clean. Bedding, towels, sofas etc felt perfectively clean, but there was a fair bit of dust and cobwebs and we had to watch kitchen stuff before using. We loved it overall, this is just something to point out for improvement :)

This cosy stay in West Wales was just what we were looking for. We were surprised by how much space we had, the beautiful greenery on route and surrounding area. It’s an ideal location if you’re looking for something that is rural, but also is within close proximity to Cardigan town centre- where there is plenty to do and see. In all honesty, we felt the photos did not do it justice! Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay, great location near the lovely beaches of west Wales and not far from the shops of Cardigan. Absolutely adored staying here and will definitely be back! Excellent location for my dog, Shadow too. Thanks for the peaceful couple of days.
