It was a wonderful stay at Elizabeth’s place, I would have given six stars if I could. Elizabeth ang Goose were very welcoming and accommodating. The place was exceptional altogether - quaint location, great amenities, very comfortable over all.

My husband and I spent 50 days here with our dog during the winter and it felt like a dream. The cabin is so fun, warm and convenient. It’s always super warm (gosh I love the heated floor) and in the meantime having close access to nature (imagine watching the pine trees right outside the window). The host, Elizabeth and Goose, are the warmest, kindest people I have met on the road. They were quick to help when we got trapped in a stormy night by a fallen tree on the highway. They helped us resolve the Wifi issue when I told them that the speed was not enough for my remote meeting calls (and it worked out perfect in the end!). As to the location, the cabin made you feel remote in the woods but actually it’s just a 15 minutes drive to town, 1 hour to Whistler and 1 hour to Vancouver. Hope we get a chance to come back again in the future!

Really quiet, rural, wooded feel to the place. The fresh eggs are a fantastic touch, and Elizabeth and Goose are the friendliest. Just be sure to drive cautiously/slowly when the dog and/or tortoise are out!

Our stay here was wonderful. The property is quiet and beautiful, and the cabin has all the amenities needed for a comfortable and relaxing long stay. Elizabeth and Goose were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were thoughtful and responsive and gave us delicious fresh eggs from their chickens! We sat on the porch in the sun, played with our pups in the yard, and went hiking nearby on a daily basis. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway in a stunning location with excellent hosts I highly recommend staying here!
