We had a very nice stay at the Boca Barranca Surf Villa Compound. If you are a surfer 🏄‍♂️ and enjoy a long left then this is the place for you. The house had everything we needed and was situated on a beautiful sprawling property. We loved our house host Mauricio, he was so accommodating and had lots of recommendations for area activities and restaurants.

The property itself was beautiful! Over 10-12 different kinds of fruit trees that the host let us eat from. The view is spectacular! The house is spacious and nice. Could have been cleaner. Needs more towels for guests. The access to the beach is why we rented the house and that was such a blessing. The surrounding area is pretty run down and not the safest feeling. Also, the interstate behind the house was a constant noise. But overall, the house, the property, the view, the host, and the access to the beach was a great value!! Can’t say enough good things about the property itself and the host!!

Nothing but pura vida and excellent communication from the moment we arrived until the moment of our departure. James and Mauricio were a pleasure to interact with, both consistently providing recommendations and helpful information. Arranging for our “in-house” massages went above and beyond and made for a perfect last day! The house is as described, the location was beyond words beautiful! We sincerely hope our paths return us to this magical place.

If you’re a surfer, you’ve come to the right place. Great surf steps from your front door. House was huge, we only had 5 but could fit a ton more. Maurice is great and super helpful. We’ll stay again.
