Overall great stay. The reason for 4 starts instead of 5 is because of the inaccurate description. I rented the King room with a Patio and Fireplace. There is no private patio and the fireplace didn’t work. The nice lady working the check in counter tried to help me fix the fireplace, but when she asked her supervisor about it she said that it’s been giving everyone trouble. So it leads me to believe that they already knew it was out, but did not describe that in the post and I had booked fairly close to my arrival. I booked here because of these two awesome amenities so it was a disappointment when one didn’t work and the other is just a chair outside your front door where everyone walks past.. overall everything else was great.

A real boutique hotel with a very comfortable room, clean and beautifully decorated. Everything was of quality (linen, soaps, mattress, etc.). It looks understated from the outside and the location is not prime, but once inside, it is warm and cosy and you are only few blocks away from the sea and State Street. We were able to walk everywhere. We would definitively recommend this place.

Exactly what it is, a hideaway. You feel like a million miles away from the noise, yet, if you want to go to your local coffee spot or walk to the pier, it's all right there. What an amazing find. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you a million.
