Here you will find a café with lovely esplanade viewpoint and a snack bar (as well as the church). The nearest mini-market is 1 Km away, next to the pharmacy and two cafés/snack-bars. From Arco da Calheta you great access to the mountains for both sightseeing (Madeira is breathtakingly beautiful) and walking (which has become extremely popular along the levadas or for hiking). The resort of Calheta, with it’s manmade golden beach, is 3Km away, and here you will you will find a selection of bars and restaurants. a handful of boutique shops and a supermarket. Ribeira Brava, 10 minutes by car, is the next largest town, and offers a greater election of shops, cafés and restaurants, and a couple of supermarkets. The capital, Funchal, is an easy 30 minutes drive along the motorway, and the airport a further 15 minutes on. To secure your reservation we require a 30% deposit, or the full amount if you are arriving within 8 weeks. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival. A security deposit of 250€ is required payable in cash on arrival. Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival.
