The River Room was a wonderful space to start my Christmas adventure into Canada from southern ME! After hiking the Coastal Trail in Cutler, I checked in and smiled as the beautiful hardwood floors, wooden beams, cozy bed, large bath, warm fireplace and geese in the yard greeted me! Ryle + Brecken we’re great communicators helping with dinner choices. The dinner I had at Helen’s was wonderful! The portion was huge so was perfect for saving for my Christmas dinner (when not much will be open on Christmas Day!). I got the Haddock chowder to go for Christmas Eve dinner. Yum! Blueberry pie💙Next morning I ventured to Lubec to see sunrise at West Quoddy Lighthouse on checkout day. Would have loved to have crawled back in bed when I got back but it was time to head North! Would definitely stay here again! The only thing that would have made my stay even better…SN❄️W!! Merry Christmas 2023!

I cannot say enough good things about my stay. The pictures don't do this property justice. It's like a little piece of heaven. I have stayed at a lot of places and this was hands down the most welcoming and cleanest I've ever experienced. The view is breathtaking and the rate is so reasonable! The little details are also so beautiful. I will be coming back here!
