Marialena's House is a comfortable seaside house very close to the sea, on the quiet beach of Myrties. Welcome to our peaceful stone house located on the west side of the island, in the comfortable complex "Kokkinos Coast Plot" with a total area of 1500 sq.m. which provides easy access to the picturesque beach of Myrties as it is only 20 meters from the sea. With magnificent views of the sea, the island of Telendos and the mountain, this 65 sq.m. house offers a tranquil escape on the stunning island of Kalymnos. The view from the living room and the outdoor courtyard will delight you while the sound of the waves will accompany you when you sleep or when you enjoy your breakfast, food, or drink and the colors of the sky while watching the sunset. Built with the traditional architecture of Kalymnos, fully renovated and decorated with excellent taste, it provides all modern comforts, warmth, and cleanliness. The place: this enchanting stone house is ideal for groups, couples or families of four, as it has everything that can make a dream holiday: A comfortable living room adorned with a corner sofa that easily converts into a double bed, capable of accommodating 2 more guests, and a fully equipped kitchen awaits cooking enthusiasts with a dining table for four. The house includes two separate welcoming bedrooms - one furnished with a comfortable double bed, wardrobe and en-suite bathroom with shower, while the second bedroom has two single beds (easily joined into a double bed) and a wardrobe. An additional bathroom with a shower is available for your comfort. In the case of a baby guest, we have a cot and high chair for your little one. Each room is equipped with air conditioning. This place was a real dream location for our 2 week climbing trip. As well as being pristine clean like the photos the real stand out aspects are the location and the host, whom was always on hand and went out of her way to help. The apartment is in a private plot with only one other house. This means it’s tucked away from the business of Myrties. You can also walk directly to the beech and jetty to Telendos straight from the property. It’s also over the road from the supermarket, bins and atm are next door and also, in a good position for the 1 way system. The hosts greeted us as well and saw us off which was super nice. Also always contactable and prompt to help with any issue. I’d recommend this property to anyone going

Great place to stay! Marialena and Anna were very responsive and flexible to help our group travel between our arrival/departure at Kos airport and the house. They arranged for a taxi to and from the Pothia port and were quick to respond when our arrival time changed. We came out to Kalymnos to climb, and it was an ideal location. The house is right by the dock to take the ferry to Telendos. It is also in between the mini market, ATM, scooter rental, and TEMAK (water filling station). We were within short walking distance to many restaurants on the Myrties/Masouri strip. The climbing is amazing, our hosts and the house were great, we would definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful location with wonderful and new facilities. The place is new and private parking was a lovely surprise. The hosts of the property was such a helpful and friendly lady she couldn’t do enough for us. We loved it ❤️

Myrties is located on the western side of the island, 8.2 km from Pothia, the port of Kalymnos.
A settlement-site, named after the abundant myrtle trees in the area. Behind it impressive cliffs arise.
Myrties has an impressive pebble beach 700 meters long and relatively shallow waters, so many people prefer it for swimming, especially families with children.
Umbrellas and sunbeds are available for hire on the beach, while the restaurants, cafes and tourist shops that surround the area keep Myrties alive throughout the day.
Lovely traditional houses appear among the narrow streets which are ideal to walk around and explore.
Just across the beach is the island of Telendos, which you can visit with frequent daily trips by small traditional boats. Swim in the idyllic Chochlakas beach and admire the view from the top of Rachi. Telendos was once part of Kalymnos, and today it can be visited daily by excursion boat.
Don't forget to visit the settlement of Melitsaha with the wonderful sunset and the interesting church of St. John, as well as the settlement of Vathis with the wonderful natural sea fjord.
The most popular attractions of Kalymnos are the Archaeological Museum, the magnificent climbing routes, the islands of Pserimos and Telendos, the fascinating seabed and the sanctuary of Dilios Apollo.
Kalymnos offers its visitors an adventurous holiday and a wealth of options. In addition to its exquisite beaches, it has mountains for mountaineering and climbing. Surfing, mountain biking, walking, yachting and diving are also available.
Visit the churches of Agios Savvas and the Castle of Chrysocheria in the capital Pothia, as well as the Castle of Chora in the old capital of the island Chorio and the Kalymnos House in Agios Savvas. Admire also the caves of the Seven Virgin Caves of Kefalas and Skalion, as well as the sponge processing workshops.
Enjoy excellent seafood, fresh fish and local delicacies in a variety of restaurants and taverns, as well as traditional music in hospitable taverns.
The island also offers nightlife that is concentrated on the route between Myrtia - Masouri, in the area of Kadouni - Linaria, as well as in the capital of the island, Pothia.
There is a daily ferry that departs from the port of Myrties to Leros (about 1 hour away).

You can get around by Bus, Taxi or Private Transfer. You can also rent a car, atv, motorbike, boat and participate in organized sea excursions.
We advise you to rent a vehicle to get around and explore the island easily.
Access to Kalymnos
Kalymnos is connected to Piraeus and the ports of the other Dodecanese islands (Kos, Leros, Patmos, Lipsi and Astypalaia). The conventional ferries make the route "Piraeus - Kalymnos" in about 9 - 12 hours. Alternatively, there are frequent routes from the port of Mastichari (Kos) with high-speed ferries or conventional ferry boats, which will take you to Kalymnos in 20-45 minutes.
From the Cyclades, there is a ferry connection to Amorgos, Mykonos, and Syros.
Air access to Kalymnos. Kalymnos is connected to Athens International Airport; the flight takes 45 minutes. Alternatively, there is the option of Kos airport and then transfer via the frequent daily ferry services from Mastichari (Kos) to Kalymnos.
