We had an amazing time at the property with 18 friends over Easter weekend. It’s a beautiful location, and lots to do without having to drive anywhere. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped, and the house can really accommodate the number of people it’s made for comfortably. Would definitely recommend!
Wonderful New Year at Old Great Marlborough! Beautiful house, perfect for our large group of 16 which included 8 children from the age of 9 - 19 each of whom had their own space. Communal areas were perfect for us all to eat together and the beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on at an Air B and B. The area is beautiful for walking and very dog friendly. Emily was responsive from booking to leaving but also just let us get on with our holiday which was lovely. Highly recommend.
Loads of room and different spaces suitable for a large group to eat together, share communal time but also have personal space. Very comfortable beds and rooms with everything you could need to cater for a large group and keep all age’s entertained. Beautiful surroundings and easy to deal with host.
We had a fantastic stay at Old Great Marlborough House. It is even better than the pictures and so well equipped for a large group. I would love to see the swimming pool back in operation, it really would then be perfect. Hope to return and thank you so much to Emily and the family x
Can’t thank you enough, Emily and your team! Old Great Marlborough House was everything we needed for the most wonderful and memorable family celebration. It happily absorbed us all into its different spaces, whether rain or (mostly😊) shine, indoors and out. We loved the various gardens, the beautiful formal dining room, the relaxed conservatory, the huge sitting room, the gorgeous bedrooms with our own spotless bathrooms - and the multitude of things to do. Across the generations we played tennis, table tennis, table football and pool; we lazed in the hot tub; and we ate and drank far too much. A truly magical weekend for mum’s 80th - thank you.
