This house is built with the utmost modern efficiency. There are four en-suite bedrooms with a queen bed in each. Barn-style sliding doors allow for privacy from the shared bathroom. Each bedroom has a private patio with Adirondack chairs to enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine! The lower level also hosts a children's bunk room with two sets of twin-sized bunk beds, sleeping 4 in total. The bunk room has a hall bathroom for the kids to enjoy their bubble baths while getting squeaky clean! The living space in Azalea Retreat - The Cottage features an open spacious living room, dining room, and kitchen perfect for spending time with family and friends. The living room has a new, bright, and fresh feel that holds a 65" TV, two comfy blue leather sofas, two chairs, and a bench that comfortably seats 10 people. The dining area, only steps away, features seating for 10 as well. With families in mind, the kitchen houses a large granite island with bar seating for six and new top-of-the-line appliances, including a gas stove, a dishwasher, and a separate freezer and refrigerator. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, utensils, and small appliances, including a Keurig and drip coffee maker to meet every group's needs. You will love the large walk-in pantry that can easily store all of your food and drinks! One of our favorite features of Azalea Retreat - The Cottage is the breathtaking view of Lake Norman and the exquisite pool, which can be seen from the screened-in porch just off the living room. What a special treat this is! The Cottage provides ample outdoor space with manicured landscaping and plenty of opportunities for fun and relaxation! The Cottage features the newest craze: a pickleball court (shared with The Lodge). Take a short stroll down the stone walkway to a private dock to enjoy your time in the water. Conveniently located on the dock are all of the fun lake toys, which include a kayak, a paddle board, and an assortment of life jackets. Don't forget to secure your pontoon rental! There is a large outdoor stone fire pit perfect for s'mores at night and relaxation after fun days on the lake.
