It's a beautiful home with a great view. They had a small Christmas tree which worked out perfect for us. The kitchen had everything we needed.
This was our second time at this home and we enjoyed our stay as much as the first. Great location, beautiful surroundings, comfortable and cozy. Cannot recommend it more highly.
Great location, right on the river, it was fun to watch the tide come and go. House was very clean and the bedrooms were good sized. There is a fireplace inside and that was a plus for us for staying in November. Plus it was dog friendly and the dogs had a good time checking out the river.
This was the perfect stay! Communication was immediate, accurate, and friendly. Directions were clear and concise. Property was clean and beautifully managed.
Very nice and beautiful location. Big, spacious, well equipped house. We enjoyed it.

Whales Watch Vacation Rentals is a small family-owned business specializing in comfortable, privately-owned vacation homes. The owners of these homes, are people just like yourself, and we know you'll treat their homes with the same pride and care that you do your own. We have lived here at Heceta Beach since 1994. Our house Whales Watch is a duplex, we live in half and the other half is our vacation rental. We enjoy sharing with others what we get to enjoy every day. My husband was from Milwaukee Wisconsin, via Texas & Alaska. And I was originally from Northern, then Southern California with some time in between as a teenager in Seoul, Korea. We fell in love with the small town atmosphere, and the temperate climate. It may be rainy, but you don't have to shovel rain, and the Ocean Breezes keep it an even 70 in the summer.
