Overall the place was decent but the check in process through Meredith lodging was not my favorite. The location was nice since it was close to the beach, although you could not actually see the ocean from inside the house. Checkout requires stripping of all sheets, linens, towels, etc. which is typical but a fairly significant cleaning fee is still charged. Overall I would give the place 3 of 5 stars - I think there is probably better options for the same price point.

It was a ok place to stay , had problems with the hot tub it never reach the 90 so it was pretty cold , needs a little upgrade on the bathrooms ,the rooms were little dirty and no privacy at all the neighbors were looking to the house all the time .

The location is wonderful, just steps from the beach! Having the hot tub was nice but it doesn’t go above 104° and the jets are more like bubble makers (not thw most powerful, dont expect a massage). But the communication was timely if not immediate and the space was nice and clean. The only other thing I would tell to fellow travelers would be - bring your own non-stick cooking spray and salt and pepper. I typically see these items in the homes I've rented - but we made do without. I would have brought some from home if i was aware.

This place feels very sparse with very few touches to make you feel at home. For example, no salt and pepper in the kitchen or hooks to hang towels while you’re in the hot tub. With that said, they did take the time to put up some Christmas decorations and it is a nice house right on the beach with a hot tub and we enjoyed our stay here.

Pros: This house is in a great location, as we specifically enjoy this area of the OR coast and the quiet stretch of beach. Direct access to the beach (a short walk over the dunes) from the home is a bonus. Decor is pretty minimal compared to other homes we have rented in the area, but the home is comfortable overall and we found that we had everything we needed for our stay. Bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were clean and tidy. Cons: The window blinds are a bit finicky and closing them for privacy was often a pesky chore. But since the area is pretty quiet, it wasn’t absolutely necessary. The dishwasher is in need of a cleaning as it had a very funky smell. We arrived late in the evening and the heat was not turned up so it was quite cold in the house. We kept coats and jackets on and delayed bedtimes until things warmed up. We had a good stay and had no major issues. We did not use the hot tub so have no feedback for that.
