Family home located within an 18th century estate including a mansion and outbuildings, close to Bayeux and the D-Day beaches. Up to 4-6 pax. This former farmhouse has its own entrance and a walled garden. On the ground floor a large room (living room/dining room) giving on the garden and a kitchen. Upstairs, 2 double bedrooms and one bathroom. The house can welcome 4 adults and 2 children ( maximum 5 years old). The children can share the main bedroom (25 m2) with 2 adults. The garden, is equipped with furniture and a barbecue. You can drive your car into the property and park under the porch. The house is located in the middle of fields, so you can see cows in the next field next to you. The house is full south, ideal for enjoying the sun until the end of the afternoon. You can use the wood-burning stove in the living room. The kitchen is equipped with gas hobs, a dishwasher, a microwave, a toaster and a coffee maker. We leave all the groceries in the kitchen so you don't have to buy the basics, such as oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, dishwasher tablets, dishwashing liquid, soap, etc. We just ask renters to replace the products when they are finished. There is also a washing machine with detergent available. Sheets and towels are provided by our concierge who will also take care of cleaning them on your departure. To accommodate your children, we leave at your disposal an umbrella bed, a cot, a playpen, small chairs, as well as toys and beach games. On the equipment side, there are 2 televisions, each connected to a Chromecast which will allow you to watch your programs from your tablet or smartphone. This house is our family home and we occupy it during weekends and holidays, so it is a living house, in which we leave personal effects such as books, laundry, objects in the laundry room, and cupboards are reserved for us. We accept dogs as long as they stay on the ground floor, and within the limit of 2 maximum per stay. The reception and departure will be carried out by our concierge, who will accompany you on site and will be at your disposal throughout your stay. During summer time (from may to october), minimum stay is 3 days. During winter time (from october to may), minimum stay is 4 days. Departure before 11h00 Arrival from 16h00

Ontzettend mooie locatie. Het huisje is erg leuk ingericht, ligt in een mooie tuin en is heel goed gesitueerd tov de landingsstranden en leuke stadjes. Dit is het echte Franse platteland waardoor je direct vakantiegevoel hebt! Goede en snelle communicatie met de eigenaar en haar waarnemer op de locatie. Helaas waren de verkeerde coördinaten doorgegeven waardoor we bij een ander huisje (gelukkig wel in de buurt!) aankwamen. Aardige dame daar heeft onze host gebeld en het juiste adres opgevraagd.

Dans les atouts : la maison a du charme, un joli jardin, beaucoup de calme, des jeux pour les jeunes enfants, un bon wifi et système chromecast. Le contact est aisé avec la personne qui facilite les entrées et sorties. Dans les points négatifs: son niveau d entretien, la vétusté des équipements et la propreté étaient en deçà de ce que l on attend pour ce prix.
We had a lovely three-night stopover at la ferme du manoir, travelling with two young children. The house was ideal for our needs. The outside space is fantastic with a huge lawned garden - loads of space for the kids to run around safely, ride bikes and play around. The property is also completely enclosed so it felt safe, private and peaceful. The main living space and the top bedroom are huge. The second bedroom is also a generous double with plenty of room. The kitchen is on the small side but perfectly functional nonetheless. Location-wise it is only a few minutes from Bayeux, and great for exploring the landing beaches. Ludovic looks after the property on behalf of the hosts. He was extremely polite, helpful and diligent, and the information provided by Camille was extremely useful. Great stay in a charming property.
Hele boligen er fyldt med rod, pletter på møbler, maling der skaller af, ledninger det hænger frit, huller i væggen mv. Der lugter af muggen kælder i underetagen. Min kone fik hosteanfald, så det er ikke et sted for folk med allergi. Køkkenet er ikke egnet til at lave mad i, så spis ude. Eks. er køkkenbordet med knækkede klinker og afskallet maling. I skabene er det spindelvæv, tomme syltetøjsglas og rod. Viskestykket var hullet og plettet. Køleskabet var snavset, så det måtte vi selv rengøre. Det er charmerende med gamle møbler og antikviteter. Men rod, snavs og forfald er ikke ok. Selve huset er fantastisk smukt, ud over det sædvanlige. Gårdhaven er også fantastisk, så det er ærgerligt at det ikke bliver holdt rent.
