Dear Friends,
We sincerely wish that your stay at 130, Awata should not only be comfortable but also rejuvenating. Hence we request you to go through the document.
130, Awata isn’t a resort. It’s our home and farm with cottages designed for you to experience comfort which is in sync with the surrounding landscape. We are a small family, who is in the process of building an institution which would act as a platform for interaction and integration, specially for the local tribal community. Through art residency and farm stay we bridge rural and urban communities to create a platform for innovative possibilities.
Farm stay and our studio supports our social endeavor done through Shunya Jagran.
We look forward to have you as part of our family.
 ~ F O O D ~
Being an off-grid place we are 35 kms or an hours drive away from any eatery. We would love to cook for you. We usually serve freshly made vegetarian meals, unless it's a group who really enjoys meat. We are in the process of setting up our kitchen garden and also experiment with bakery and vegan diet.
Breakfast, lunch, high tea & dinner: 1150/- per person per day.
( Breakfast usually is poha/upma/misal, cerals, tea/coffe, lunch is rice/nagli roti, sabji, dal, white/red rice, salad & sweet. Dinner we keep it a surprise ;) Sometime its Biryani handi, pizzas or south east asian). Please respect meal timings.
Barbeque
We can setup barbecue for you on coal or electric. A set contains marginated 1 kg chicken, paneer & veggies which you can spend time grilling. The setup is good to serve 4 guests. Charges: 1100/-
We need 48 hours notice prior to your arrival to make the arrangements along with your dietary requirements and likings.
I M P O R T A N T
130, awata has the ambience to rejuvenate, unlearn and explore.
. We officially do not permit the consumption of hard alcohol at the cafeteria or open spaces, though we are in the process of getting a license for wine.
. Our crew and local community is our family. They are here to make your stay a beautiful experience and not to serve you.
. We are perfectly fine if you want to get your pets along. As long as they do not damage the furniture and beds. We can help you make arrangements for them.
. We are not sure if the place would be fun for kids, unless you want them to experience what living in raw nature would be like.
. Elderly members of the family would have some difficulties walking around the rough terrain.
. Living in nature includes witnessing the life of insects and reptiles, specially during monsoon. We are always there to guide them away from you.
. We do not promote loud noise or late night parties. For sure you can sit up whole night gazing at the stars and enjoy a laugh with your beloved ones.
. The place is meant for your rejuvenation and relaxation. But it can only work if it is not purely self centered.
