Fantastic! We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect, the location and proximity to downtown, beach access was close by, lots of towels and linens, well stocked kitchen with all the necessaries, comfortable seating. We felt right at home and thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. This place is legit, exactly as described. Well done and thank you!
Second time staying and did not disappoint!
My family has stayed at this property twice and we love it. We traveled with two young children ( 7 months and 3 years) and 5 adults. The yard is great for kids, the beach access is easy, the location is great with a Fred Meyer ~5 mins away. The view is amazing! Any issues have been handled very promptly by the owners. We can’t wait to return.
Awesome view!! Easy acess to the beach. Local residents very friendly. House was very clean, kitchen is fully stocked if you plan to cook meals.Will stay here again.

Whales Watch Vacation Rentals is a small family-owned business specializing in comfortable, privately-owned vacation homes. The owners of these homes, are people just like yourself, and we know you'll treat their homes with the same pride and care that you do your own. We have lived here at Heceta Beach since 1994. Our house Whales Watch is a duplex, we live in half and the other half is our vacation rental. We enjoy sharing with others what we get to enjoy every day. My husband was from Milwaukee Wisconsin, via Texas & Alaska. And I was originally from Northern, then Southern California with some time in between as a teenager in Seoul, Korea. We fell in love with the small town atmosphere, and the temperate climate. It may be rainy, but you don't have to shovel rain, and the Ocean Breezes keep it an even 70 in the summer.
