Sherie and Karl’s home is absolutely beautiful, we arrived at night and was greeted with Sherie. I walked in and I was amazed at how Sherie has styled her home. Loved the palm beachy decor. The little touches of their breakfast station complete with a toaster, coffee maker, kettle and all the essentials for breakfast with a loaf of fresh bread, snacks and the bar fridge stocked with milk, juice poppers and goodies. Maggie and Bravo are sweet, lovely and curious, Maggie paid us a visit, me of course a cat lover couldn’t help but give her cuddles and all the pats. Myself, hubby and my bub all felt nice and comfortable like we were just at home, a home away from home. It was a nice little get away from the busyness of Sydney.

This was hands down the best experience with an Airbnb we have ever had. Such a gorgeous space with so many amenities and lovely little touches. Sherie and Karl were so extremely welcoming and helpful, made us feel right at home and went out of their way to help us have an amazing holiday. We had our own secluded space with lots of privacy to really make the most of our getaway. The beautiful cats Maggi and Bravo were so friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed their company! We will 1000% be back to stay next time we holiday in oak flats and will recommend Sherie and Karl to absolutely everyone! Thanks again guys!!

The stay was an absolute dream, this experience has been the best one I've encountered so far and really sets the bar quite high. They are awesome hosts, super friendly and welcoming which adds to the experience. They offered tips about local restaurants and also a few little local spots to suss out which were awesome. I would definitely recommend these guys and would definitely stay again. The addition of the two super friendly cats wondering the premises adds to the stay, they are the subtle Heroes of the place.

Had a great stay here, though only for one night. The place was spatious, impeccably clean, and had plenty of extras. Our hosts were also wonderfully hospitable. We will be back!

Karl & Sherie have a stunning house located right on the lake. You are in a room within their home but you have plenty of privacy. The room and bathroom is packed with amenities and stylish touches. Probably the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in, felt like a 5 star hotel. Loved it!!
