Super endroit, autant la cabine ainsi que le terrain ! Nous nous sommes sentis chez-nous en arrivant ! Chalet très bien équipé, super propre et confortable. Nous recommandons cet AirBNB sans hésiter. Seul hic, les matelas ne sont pas confortables, très durs.
The Maine Cabin was exactly as described and absolutely lovely! We enjoyed the peacefulness of the area, watching the wildlife (deer, turkey, baby robins), admiring the beautiful flower garden, and quiet private surroundings. John and Kerry went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and make sure we had everything we needed. They have wonderful clear instructions and are super quick to respond. We loved the keypad entry and firepit out back. There is a great Amish farm stand nearby that has the best tasting produce and yummy treats. The cabin is centrally located for day trips to hike in the White Mountains or explore the city of Portland and coastal Maine beaches. We loved it! Thanks John and Kerry for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cabin!

This cabin is a gem! It was comfortable, cozy, and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect for exploring, antiquing, and stargazing! It has everything you need and more! Our hosts even included a S’mores basket as a welcome treat! Thank you, John and Kerry! We highly recommend this hidden treasure!
John and Kerry are definitely superhosts. The cabin was very clean, with basic supplies and kitchen appliances (salt, pepper, oil, tea pots, pans, microwave). Beds are not the most comfortable but they have bed bug covers and the pillows are fluffy. There is a deck and a well built firepit in the back. They were stocked with marshmallows, graham crackers and roasting sticks but if you have more than two people bring your own sticks and chairs to sit around the fire. Also bring a lighter and some deet. The lake is about 2- 3 miles away. Not really a spot for swimming but its good for fishing with kids. Hiram is rural and for the most part quiet, great for antiquing. Everything closes at 8pm so you definitely have to plan accordingly. North Conway is only about 40 mins away so if you need more to do, a day trip to NH is always an option. Would stay again.
