The cabin was in a secluded location and was quaint and cozy. The grounds were well kept and all of the amenities listed were present. There was a very short walk to the pond/beach area which is a great spot for relaxing. Hot tub is a nice addition for the stay. Overall, we had a great long-weekend stay. The only downside was the 7 or 8 mile drive down the dirt/gravel road and also being quite a distance from stores and restaurants. But if you prepare appropriately, that should not need to affect your stay. Would do this again in the future.

Absolutely beautiful ! If you’re looking for a getaway but still with so much right at your fingertips, this place is it ! It’s good for mom and dad, but would be good for them babies too ! It really is a hidden gem out there !!!

My husband and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary but want to escape technology and everyday life. Nicholas has an absolutely beautiful place out there that's completely private and so peaceful! We loved the shooting range, kayaking with the ducks, and the hot tub right out of the back door! We plan to come back later this summer with all of the kiddos! Perfect place!

The cabin was adorable! I loved being greeted by the ducks and Ms. Meowgie when we arrived. It was so nice and quiet out there, I miss it already! 💜 I can’t wait to come back& enjoy it some more!

A really beautiful place for a relaxing time outdoors with lots of activities built right in. I would definitely book again. Nick was very friendly and answered my questions before I booked. Some things to note: there is a second rental house on this property with shared access to many of the amenities. This may have just been me, but I didn't realize that when I booked and it could have changed my decision. We got lucky that no one else was booked for most the time we were there, but if there had been other guests, the environment could have been very different. I would also have been more cautious about the shooting range, which is a shame because it was one of our favorite features that we used nearly every day. Another consideration that didn't bother us, but may be important to others in planning, is that any real town is a good drive (nearest Walmart is 40 minutes away). This was mostly a pro, but may not be for everyone.
