The hotel and the staff is great! Very welcoming and friendly! Always making sure you are the priority and will try to answer your questions the best you can. Recommend me where to go and how much to expect to pay in the surrounding business! Even gave me a complementary turkish coffee while i was waiting to check out! I would definitely recommend to others! They offered me a taxi service to the airport for a 900 Lira flat rate, BUT when i got to the airport the driver charged me 1000 Lira and asked me for a TIP and wouldn’t let me leave until he got his tip. I ended up paying 1.100. I know that’s outside of the hotel’s control so i still give 5 starts to the hotel. But I recommend to use Uber instead since you pay upfront and won’t be held hostage at the airport drop off!

The hotel was in the perfect location. Walking distance to all the major sights. A few blocks from Galata tower, very close the the bridge that takes you across the river to the spice Bazaar. It’s only about a 35 min walk to the Blue mosque and Hagia Sofia, with lots to see on the way. Grand Bazaar also an easy walk. The street was bustling during the day but surprisingly very quiet at night. The only real noise came from the other guests in the hotel in the room next door. The price for the location was great.

The first room they gave me was a prison cell with no windows I felt like suffocating, so I went down and talked to the receptionist who changed to me to another room with a basement window and almost 6 FTx 6 ft. I went back again to the receptionist and demanded a room just like the pictures with a big window and a balcony he saw how serious I was, so he did. If they give you a room that is not like the pictures, SAY SOMETHING. The view was amazing from the balcony.

Ismael and all the guys working the front desk were great and really helpful during my stay. The balcony rooms are cool and I bet its really nice to sit out there during the warmer months and watch the street below. Outside is a cobbled street on a hill about 200m from a main st. not a large hotel but a more boutique one. This was a very walkable location close to a lot of the sights probably good for shorter stays. There are some things that should be improved, the internet was not the most reliable it would often slow down for a few minutes out of every hour, the cleaning could use some more attention on the small details, and the sauna needs more attention. I think you can consider this place if you can book for a good price and you want a convenient location for a short trip.
