This was our 4th booking. This is such a wonderfuly peaceful, restful and totally enjoyable home and grounds. The history is out there for you to read and enjoy or, you can take advantages of the walk with Steve for all the cool history. These pictures do not do justice on this place. Your place is so clean and ready to get comfy in. Always feel at home, easy to talk with and love the walk through and all the historical information that Steve gives. Everything you may need is here and so well placed. Outside is just beautiful and you can tell it was very well thought through when being designed. We go to Sutter Creek for shopping, walking around and great food. We have now stayed 4 times and plan to return. Family friendly, ready for all. You would love this place. Guaranteed.

Our second visit to the Bunkhouse was just as magical as the first. It is clear that Steven & Elizabeth continually put a great deal of love & attention into this property. There is so much creativity here! From the clever use of cast iron for decoration to the hand-embroidered linens/homemade blankets, their gift of hospitality just shines. So far, this is the only AirBNB we have returned to, and my entire family is looking forward to a return visit. Kitchen is well-equipped with all the essentials to cook meals there. Ample supply of towels in each bathroom and even a hair dryer in each! We particularly enjoy the property. Being city folks, having that much space in which to roam, toss a frisbee, or read by gurgling fountains were particular delights for us. In the evening, there was frog/cricket song that we enjoyed with all the windows open. Everything is squeaky clean (I am fussy about that). Take the time to get to know Steven & Elizabeth- they are truly wonderful people.
