Wonderful house tucked right in the middle of some beautiful vineyards. Walking distance to some great vineyards. Thomas and Dave were fantastic hosts and were very responsive. House was clean and nice. We saw some wild turkeys right in the driveway which was awesome. The only complaint is that the third bedroom is down attached to the garage. And it had a slight odor to it. There was an air purifier that helped but didn’t get rid of it all. Other than that it was wonderful experience and we would totally stay here again!

We loved the house. Had a wonderful time visiting the vineyards close by. Will go back again and stay longer.

Very peaceful and serene. The main part of the house was laid out well that all of us (6 people) could socialize and interact very easily and have space. The kitchen has a large open floor plan with a large picture window overlooking the vineyards and valley. We enjoyed the lemons and kumquats on the property. Host was quick and responsive. Unfortunately, the spa did not heat up fully.

We loved the house, and especially the grounds and spectacular view. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with, and we enjoyed having a full library of Mozart and Bach CDs to explore and fill the house with music. Great place, and so convenient to a wealth of wineries.

We went to Codevilla to recuperate from our hectic trip with our dogs. It was the perfect place to do so! The house itself is a gem and the location was just serene and peaceful. We did not get to explore too much around us, but Placerville was a short 40 min drive and we did manage to find dinner there on new years day. The airbnb is well equipped with dishes and flatware making it easy to have a family of 6 there . Perfect place to have a retreat with family.
