This Rustic Cabin is a gem. We were on a return visit, this time in early Spring, and even though we had some rain during our stay, there place was warm, cozy and so wirth the trip here and the stay. If you have an opportunity to visit— do it. You’ll enjoy your time.

We loved every single moment of our stay! Rustic Pines has everything you could possibly need to enjoy a peaceful getaway in the wilderness. We stayed for three nights and there was so much to do and enjoy that we could have stayed for another week easily! The games room was such a unexpected surprise, we played Mortal Kombat, pool, and darts and after a long day of hiking in nearby Eldorado National Forest, the hot tub was a welcome way to relax and unwind. The river is full and flowing and we spent an amazing afternoon playing in the water, our dog had probably the best day of her entire life running around splashing in the water. The house itself is spacious, clean, and well stocked with all of the essentials and creature comforts. We will definitely be back!

I enjoyed my time at this Airbnb. I did a couple of day trips to Tahoe when it was snowing and it wasn't bad (1.5 hours one way). It rained for a couple of days during my stay, but mostly at night. I enjoyed the pool table and hot tub most days. Hopefully, I can come back during the summer to enjoy the outdoor areas more: BBQ, bonfire, and the river. The only thing I think is important to note not mentioned is the internet speed. After a day of activities, I like watching Netflix/streaming sports. The internet works for basic web browsing, but it will not work for streaming. I'm not sure if any cell provider has strong signal there, but Verizon doesn't so I couldn't use that to stream either. Low/bad signal can be expected in a lot of wooded areas, I wonder if StarLink works here, that'd be amazing. Anyway, they have DVDs or I'd recommend just downloading any Netflix shows/movies you'd like to enjoy during your stay. This place is a great place to disconnect and enjoy the outdoors.
