The house has been beautifully remodeled. And was very clean. We enjoyed our visit. And Mariam was very responsive with our communication.

Everything about the Mellowood stay was what we were looking for: a quiet serene clean retreat post Christmas for our family. Mariam was responsive and everything that we needed to make this a relaxing vacation was provided. We enjoyed our stay here and the short distance from Sacramento made this an appealing getaway.

Beautiful property. Easy to find and easy to check in. Mariam was responsive and helpful. I went to the tasting room on Saturday (gotta love a wine tasting room that is a 3 min walk away) and had a wonderful tasting. Hilarious and super nice people. Got to meet the winemaker and try a red blend that has yet to hit the market. The Zinfandel is delicious, I see why it has won awards. Make sure to hike up Zin hill, has a beautiful view of the valley. The house was spacious and warm. Huge living room. Our pups loved roaming the property. 5 stars all around.

This is the second year we have stayed at Mellowwood, and we’re already planning next year! It’s perfect for the 6 of us on our yearly girls trip. We pulled up and immediately said, “it’s good to be home.”
