Piroska was an amazing host. She gave me lots of information regarding local shops/restaurants/taxi's. The location is perfect, close enough to the tourist attractions. The apartment is directly opposite the parliament building. we never got tired of looking at it. Apartment was well equipped, had everything we needed (two friends) and it was so homely. I don't have anything bad to say. It was an amazing place. I would definitely stay again:)

We stayed in Piroska's large one bedroom apartment for a reduced cost while work on the front of the building was carried out. We luckily still had a fantastic view and didn't miss sitting out as the weather was so bad! We enjoyed the space but I would say the furnishings are a bit 'tired' and in my opinion it needs a thorough deep clean. We really didn't like the large bedroom with just a clothes rack and one table. The bedside cabinets had nothing on them, just spot lights clipped to the bed frame and the clothes airer in the corner with all the wet washing from the previous guests was, in my opinion, dreadful. The bathroom en-suite was good but the shower leaked all over the floor each time soaking the floor mat. Old sticky oils/vinegars beside the cooker and the extractor light above didn't work so it was dark. Piroska was helpful with travel information and places to go. However, aside from the above negatives it's a large, mainly comfortable space in a fantastic position.

The apartment lived up to our expectations. As a couple who enjoys exploring on foot, our stay was really pleasant, and we had enough space to move around comfortably. The trip was aimed at experiencing the city, but staying in such a fine apartment made it even better. Being able to come back to a lovely apartment, where there was room to enjoy the late evenings and mornings before heading out to explore Budapest, enhanced our experience. Although we spent a lot of time in the 'Pest' area, we didn't mind the longer walk back to the apartment. We particularly appreciated the beautiful view from the balcony, especially of the illuminated parliament building. Had the weather been better, we probably would have used the balcony more. If we were to mention two minor things that could have improved the experience, it would be a better condition of the balcony and a more temperate bedroom. All in all, we are very satisfied and would definitely recommend this apartment to others!
