A very beautiful and peaceful area. Cabin was just as described. Comfortable beds and the wi-fi worked great. This was just a perfect stay. If in the area again we would love to stay again!

Overall good location for exploring Portland and surrounding areas and comfortable for 3 people. Would probably not recommend staying in the off-season like we did as heat didn’t seem to reach through the whole house. Some small disappointments like spotty TV connection and still dirty cups and utensils in the cabinets/drawers. Wish we had time to use the firepit - definitely a great addition.

Micah & Lori's cozy cottage aka Camp Arrowhead was just as advertised. The lakeside community feels like a throwback to a simpler time. The cottage has plenty of knotty pine to remind me of 1950s-60s childhood vacations in Maine, but has everything we needed for a comfortable 2023 getaway. The kitchen is very well equipped. Since some reviews mention the nonpotable water, I asked & owners clarified: it's fine for cooking & dishwashing (& we found a fresh gallon of spring water for drinking in the fridge). We didn't have a chance to use the kayaks, but just sitting by the lake was sweetly serene. It'll take you a few minutes to get there form anywhere, but it's worth it!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is great with the lake and its close proximity to Portland. The house is very cozy and clean, has a large kitchen, and nice backyard. We loved being able to go kayaking. The neighborhood was beautiful, quiet, and felt safe. I would recommend this place to others!
