Great location walkable to beach but looking out on the Folly River, which was incredibly peaceful. The golf carts were a major benefit for taking gear/kids to the beach and for heading into town. Having laundry facilities available was also a wonderful benefit. Layout was great in the two properties for the 11 people we had. Only exception was the inability to seat everyone around a table to eat. There were a few minor maintenance items that were a bit of an inconvenience but we left a note to have them fixed for the next guests. The curb appeal leaves a little to be desired (I don't think the cleaning crew cares about the outside) but the inside of the properties were clean and nicely furnished/decorated.

Would absolutely not recommend staying here. Bigger house does not have AC and host will send companies out; but won’t follow their advice to fix it. The bigger house stays at about 82 degrees during the day. Host was nice at first but became unresponsive during the last few days. According to the 4 different AC companies that came out, they all said this house has had issues for months. The final diagnosis was that rodents chewed holes in the ducting so it wasn’t able to get air to the rooms. That also explained why the house smelled like a gerbil cage - because there were rodents in the ducts and there was no air circulation. Also a huge health risk. Our children were inconsolable because they couldn’t understand sleeping in such heat. One of the doors to the outside doesn’t lock, there is no dishwasher in the main house, and water is in all the hand soaps (which shows their desire to cut costs). AirBNB will not help you resolve this based on “policy limitations”. Save your money.

Two houses side by side overlooking the back bay at Folly Beach. Quiet location. Very nicely furnished, great views. good amenities. Two well resourced kitchens for the casual cook - we brought a lot of our own stuff and cooked every night. Golf carts and bicycles, beach gear etc all made available. There's even a good bit of kiddie play equipment. There were 14 of us from 3 to 83 years old and it was just great. Thanks Matt!

Rented both houses for the week. The view of the marsh is breathtaking! It was close to beach access and having an electric golf car for each house was so easy to get around. We had beach chairs available to us, and the kitchen was stocked. Great place to stay for a large group and was quiet and peaceful!! Owner was very responsive!

Matt’s homes were a great spot for our family vacation. The views of the marsh are incredible and the sunsets are truly stunning. We also loved having access to the golf carts to get to and from the beach. The place allowed our family to relax and enjoy time together.
