克利夫顿(Clifton) · 住宿加早餐里的独立房间 · 1室1床1.0卫 · 可住2人 · Quiet Getaway for the Single Traveler
Clifton is a hidden gem nestled on the banks of the Tennessee River. A nice stroll a few blocks away to historic main street and fabulous sunsets over the river. The room is named for our family, the Garrett's. When you enter this room there is an antique double bed with a high headboard. The bed is dressed with a beautiful comforter and matching pillows. It is in the back of the second floor and overlooks the beautifully landscaped backyard. Depending on the time of the year, there is a beautiful array of flowers in the yard below. The private bath has a walk-in shower. Convenient electrical outlets to charge devices.
Last minute booking based on change to my travel plans. Host/Hostess super flexible to my request. Julia and Jackie were fantastic in supporting my effort to conduct research in the local area, linking me up with certain contacts and making suggestions on where to find information and sharing personal library they possessed to assist me. Enjoyed the care and flexibility on breakfast choices. One extra part that was very nice were the small extra amenities that just showed up…. (If you get a chance - try the fresh home made granola). Small town feel and very walkable…. Time in the local library and walking the streets make it clear that everyone knows everyone and has a feel of safety and security not felt in much larger places. Clearly most people visiting this are wish to be here.. This is a great location to serve as a base to venture out to the local sites and attractions.. I know i nm y heart I would love to spend more time here, if for no other reason - to enjoy the peach.
Absolutely loved my stay! The ladies are so sweet and made me feel right at home. I would definitely stay here again!
Julie was kind enough to make us a breakfast on the go. it was the perfect place to crash for the night on our road trip. I wish we had more time to explore the beautiful scenic area

Many area activities within a short drive... Shiloh Civil War Battlefield, Natchez Trace Parkway, Loretta Lynn's Kitchen, and Amish Communities. The area natural setting lends itself to many things to do including river activities, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding, flea markets, and golf. Seasonal events/festivals normally happen on the 2nd Saturday of the month.
