Overall we had a very nice stay and the communication with Francesco went great and he was very responsive :) However we must say that some aspects of the apartment did not live up to our expectations / price paid, given the partially visible wear/ tear (drawers & shower) and the absence of really good cooking equipment.

Our Stay at Francesco's home was perfect. Francesco and his sister were the nicest people. It really felt like we were home - it was clean, well furnished, air-conditioned, had free parking and the bed was comfortable - what more could one want?! The home is only a 3-minute walk to Mondello Beach. We are on a 5-week trip around Sicily, this is the end of the 4th week, and Mondello Beach is our favorite beach in Sicily. Also, the bus stop for the bus (#806) that took us right to downtown Palermo was less than a block from this home. I think the round-trip ticket, which you can buy at any tobacco shop, was less than 5 Euros. We plan to stay here again next year. Susan
