Absolutely wonderful place. The beds were extremely comfortable. I believe it’s a former estate turned into a hotel. Right on the water in Mondello and 3-4 minute walk to the bus stop to take you into the Palermo city center. There is also a coffee bar, pharmacy, and fruit stand/salumeria right next to the bus stop for anything you may need. They do have a driveway if need be but the gate isn’t automatic so you will need to get out and manually open it. My best recommendation is to make sure you read the instructions in the room about the colors of the keys! Also you might have to jiggle the keys in the lock and pull out slightly for the lock to turn. Of course we realized this on our last night! Perfect spot for walking to the beach!

If you're visiting Palermo in the winter, this is the perfect place to stay. Some reviews say it's noisy at night, but in our case only a few cars or pedestrians made a bit of noise at night, and thanks to chilly weather there were only a few mosquitoes. Everything else was just PERFETTO. Small details in interior design, comfy furniture and neat clean bed and towels, fast hot water, welcome food and basic spices, great terrace view.... ...but most of all, Cesare was so kind and careful - helped us whenever we needed. Many thanks to Cesare for his warm smiles and to Nicoletta for the wonderful house. Grazie tanto e buona fortuna a tutti voi!
