We had amazing stay. Thanks Annie for allowing us book and stay at your beautiful home. The rooms were clean, kitchen and living areas were tidy. We enjoyed the pool and spa while looking at the beautiful mountain views. Annie was very accommodating and responsive. Thanks, again!

We were a group of 5 couples, and all agreed the house was just perfect for our 3 night weekend. This luxurious, spacious and comfortable home is beautifully furnished, and decorated with many interesting objets d'art. It is even better than the photos! We enjoyed eating dinner out on the spacious terrace every evening, and loved that food could be passed across the bifold kitchen windows. The view from there is superb. The swimming pool was much appreciated. We loved feeding the chooks and eating their delicious fresh eggs. Communication with Annie was great, and she was a generous and accommodating host. The original purpose of our stay was to do the of tour Merchiston Homestead which is 15 minutes further north and well worth a visit (you need to book ahead) We also found interesting things to do in Feilding (Saleyards Tour and Coach House Museum) but just staying at home was a pleasure. We all agreed we would love to return. Thanks very much Annie for sharing your house!

My colleagues and I chose Kakariki for a belated Christmas retreat, and it turned out to be an ideal weekend getaway. Annie, our host, was incredibly accommodating and responsive, even surprising us with a lovely bottle of wine upon our arrival. The property itself is a dream, offering stunning views, a saltwater pool, a tennis court, and a spa – everything you need for a perfect stay without needing to venture elsewhere. Leaving this morning was bittersweet, but we're already planning our return.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Kakariki! Annie is a very responsive and accomodating host, providing generous tips throughout our stay to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. The house is a dream home away from home, and has everything you need (bbq, spa, saltwater pool, swimming towels, tennis court, racquets, pétanque court). There were so many thoughtful details, and it was comfortable and spacious for a large group with a few children. The pictures actually do it justice, but it is so much better experienced in person. It feels very private and secluded, but Marton and Bulls are both under 10 minutes drive if you need amenities! We were so sad to leave and will definitely return for a longer stay next time!
