New for 2022 your own private secluded wood fired hot tub next to your cabin Nestled in the heart of the Cambrian mountains with spectacular views in all directions Welsh Glamping offers a little slice of peace in today's hectic world. Our log cabins have been hand built by us on our farm from our own trees, each one is truly unique and environmentally friendly. Heated by wood fires with locally sourced sustainable timber you can relax round the fire pits staring up at spectacular dark skies. Your cabin has a king size four poster bunk bed (you wont find these anywhere else as far as we know) grown ups on the bottom and two beds for little people up above. There's a wood burner with an oven for those cosy evenings in. We will supply you with a starter pack of logs and charcoal for the fire pit. Extra can be bought for £5 a bag. It's all locally grown and sustainable. Outside you'll find plenty of space to relax and enjoy the view around the fire pit which doubles up as a BBQ. On the side of the deck is your own kitchen with everything you need to rustle up lovely treats. There is a gas hob and grill, fridge freezer, running (cold) water and all the kitchen essentials. If you need an oven you'll have to fire up the woodburner! As for bathrooms we have modern luxury bathrooms in our lambing shed a short walk from the cabin.
This place exceeded my expectations. I booked the cabin for my boyfriend’s birthday and we were not disappointed. Tucked away deep into the valley is this wonderful place complete with all the perks of going off grid and being immersed in nature. This place should be booked if you intend to do not a lot but relax and maybe a jaunt to the nearby waterfall. William and Sarah were friendly from the start and checked in occasionally to make sure we had what we needed. I will without a doubt be recommending Welsh Glamping to all my friends and family and we intend to return as soon as we can! Thank you again for a wonderful and magical stay.
The lodge was super cosy, in beautiful surroundings. The bed was really comfy and the room was well appointed. We made great use of the wood log burner, bbq and hot tub. The surrounding fields and hills were beautiful to walk around. Although the bathroom facilities were a short walk from the cabin, they were clean, private and had lots of hot water. We would recommend picking up supplies before you arrive and maybe a bag of logs and kindling as there's not a lot nearby. We had a warm welcome on arrival by Oscar, who showed us the new lambs on the farm and helped us with our bags. All in all a beautiful and peaceful escape, perfect for a digital detox (no WiFi or signal), surrounded by nature.
first time glamping ,what an experience had a lovely weekend away ,hosts was very friendly and welcoming. the glamping pod ,location was beautiful .highly recommend would definitely go again x
What a little gem this stay was. Could have been a little bit luckier with the weather, but even in this (somewhat wet) climate, we absolutely loved staying at Will and Sarah’s place. The cabins are “glamping” personified in that you get a real sense of the outdoors without compromising in the slightest in comfort. The private, pristine loos were hugely appreciated. The attention to detail is almost at an OCD level (which is just how we like it tbh 😂). The hot tub preheating is well worth it and we made used of it twice. The surroundings are just out of this world. We only stayed 2 nights but would have loved to spend a week here (and probably will one day). The hosts and support staff are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended and we can’t wait to come back one day.
We love the peace and quiet here and we think it provides the ideal space to relax and unwind; recconect with family and escape the hustle and bustle. However for those that want there is plenty to get up to in the local area. We've got four pubs, two grocery shops and a handful of cafes less than 15 mins drive away. Llanwrtyd Wells is the UK's smallest town and has a host of events going on throughout the year, check out the Alternative World Games, Bog Snorkelling World Championships and the famous Man Vs Horse extreme marathon to name a few. The Abergwesyn common backs onto the farm and is one of the UK's last great wildernesses. There are beautiful walks to be had and true splendid isolation to be found. If you are stuck for ideas just ask us we will point you in the right directions.
Other major attractions include:

Whilst there is a train station nearby our public transport links round here are almost non existent so unfortunately you will need a car. We can provide charging facilities for electric cars if needed.
