Sarah and Bruce were the most hospitable people. They were welcoming and friendly. The apartment was extremely clean. The surrounding was peaceful and private. Their knowledge of the island was vast and informative (recommended a great date night spot). I can safely say that this is my go to place whenever I’m in Barbados again.

A very special and confortable place to stay. We were there for almost 2 weeks with a rented car and have been able to get easily to all the wonders the island has to offer from there, feeling at home every night when coming back. The hosts were very nice and helpful.

Wonderful place in the middle of the countryside, peaceful sounds of Nature and beautiful sunrise. Sarah and her husband were amazing hosts, very helpful and friendly. The place is spotless and super well equipped, it felt just like home ! Thank you for having me for almost three weeks !

Sarah and Bruce are amazing people, very helpful and kind. Our stay in the house was great. You can really feel like you are in home. If I come back to Barbados one day I will choose once again the stable for sure!

We chose the accommodation because of the environment, as the cottage has a large garden, two terraces and is surrounded by greenery. When you have a rental car it is the perfect base to explore the island. The cottage contains everything you need and a lot more - beach umbrella, fins, portable cooler... What we really appreciate is the attitude of Sarah and Bruce. They live in the house next door and are available if needed. When we arrived, it was a public holiday on the island and most of the shops were closed. Bruce offered to drive us to the nearest one that was open. We were regularly asked if everything was okay and if we needed anything. This is exceptional. The wifi works great. As there are mosquitoes on the island, we recommend to take adequate repellents. Perhaps insect screens on the windows and doors would be something to consider. Wine and foccacia and even fresh eggs from Bruce's mom were waiting for us in the cottage. We highly recommend the Stables!
