Cannot recommend Mark and Bridget’s beautiful cabin enough to stay at for a peaceful week away from home. The cabin is beautifully restored and so cozy to stay in. Weather permitting we spent a lot of time on the patio and by the lake. The fire pit outside was also a nice touch! Mark and Bridget were also incredibly helpful and so quick to respond with any questions I had. I also loved hearing some of the background behind the restoration of the cabin. We will definitely be coming back and hope to check out some of the other stays they have available!

A nice comfortable cabin on the lake, offering some nice peace and quiet. Kids enjoyed great fishing right from the dock, and the added fun of a rowboat, paddle boat and kayak.

We very much enjoyed our time at the Long Lake Escape! The cottage was tastefully decorated and obviously built with great care and skill. The hosts, Mark and Bridget, were extremely helpful and quickly responded to questions. We enjoyed spending time on the spacious and relaxing deck, but the inside was a very inviting space as well. Strong wifi connection and pet friendly, too!

We had a wonderful stay at this Long Lake property. The house is very well renovated with lots of recycled materials and charm. It's really a lovely vacation home. The management was quite responsive to our needs and very friendly to boot! We sat out on the deck and on the dock down by the lake, nice a quiet. We used the kayak to putter around the lake. Owner supplied towels, but bring your own beach towels! It was a perfect setting for a girls weekend... although at 50+ maybe we don't qualify as girls anymore! Although we were able to shimmy up to the top bunk bed, which is a feat in and of itself, ha! Pro tip: There's a delicious coffee shop a short ways away in Plainfield called Starks + Luce. We also headed into Steven's Point for a walk in Schmeeckle Reserve, Belt's SoftServe for a treat, and a $6 wine tasting at Sunset Point Winery (only in WI). Thank you Mark and Bridget!
