Aida’s house is more beautiful than the pictures! There is plenty of room (we were 8 adults and 3 children), gorgeous outside spaces, a perfect beach, still and refreshing ocean, and eating meals on the terrace is just amazing. It is quite the perfect spot for a family holiday. We are really grateful for all the recommendations on where to hike, eat and shop, and our hosts were always available, friendly and helpful. The crib, high chair and toys for kids are much appreciated. Keep in mind the nearest large supermarket is about 40 minutes away, but there are local stores and bakeries in Nea Styra. Also, important to make sure with Aida that the hot water boiler is set for the right times - the solar-powered hot water didn’t quite suffice for 11 showers in the evening (maybe because it was October) but Maisa and Alex helped sort this out quickly. We are already discussing when to come back next year! Thank you!

When we arrived we were greeted by Aida’s mom Maisa and her family. They showed us around and were extremely nice, the photos don’t do justice to the absolutely beautiful place with a breathtaking view. They left us fresh fruit, drinks and snacks. All the amenities we needed and communication with the host was 10/10. Nea stira is quite small and peaceful place but has restaurants and little shops, we also cooked at home a lot since there was a fully equipped kitchen and an outside grill. We had rental cars which were a must in my opinion to get around. We spent the days on the private beach and having an unforgettable holiday. Maisa in really kindhearted and helpful, I can’t recommend this place enough. There was a really cute and human friendly cat coming to the garden everyday that we fed and gave medicine to. We left cat food for her Maisa is helping to feed her. We thank Aida and Maisa for their hospitality, we had a blast!

Wowza. The pics don't lie! Perhaps the most beautiful view we've ever had at an Airbnb (and we've stayed at some pretty spectacular properties around the world.) And of course the beach location means that even during European heat waves, the coastal winds keep this property a totally pleasant, breezy summer option. Great option if you're looking for a July/August option. I have to say a big thanks to our host Aida, who was on constant stand-by for any questions we might have, AND came to our roadside rescue when our rental car broke down an hour from the house. She also connected us to a personal chef, who we enlisted to cook a few delicious (and inexpensive) multi-course feasts. (Such a nice break from the usual drudgery of cooking at home! Maybe the vacation highlight?) So much else to praise - the multiple, shaded outdoor seating areas, the private garden, the secluded beach 20 feet from your door, the 10 minute drive into town with its restaurants and bakeries and butchers. I could go on. Clearly we were fans! (For reference, 7 adults, 5 kids and 1 baby. Appreciated the high-chair and crib and pack-n-play!)

A great property and stay. The house is literally on the beach which was never crowded. The beach was child friendly and sandy. The house is fully equipped in every sense ( appliances, cooking equipment, cleaning and cooking supplies, bedlinen etc) and the fact that every bedroom has its bathroom is a bonus. Our party consisted of 7 adults and a child 2.5 years old and the house easily accommodated us and never felt cramped. The house and garden are ideal for kids of all ages. The house has great sea views and it gives a relaxing vibe with countless sitting areas and zero noise throughout the day. Aida, Maisa and Alex were fantastic hosts, prompt in every communication, full of tips if you wanted them and accommodating in every respect. They went above and beyond. Access to restaurants, super markets etc is easy although the village gets very busy during august in particular. Access from Athens is easy with ferries running roughly every 1.5 hour- the ride itself is only 45 mins. We would definitely return to the property in the future.
