Amazing 6 night stay in August 2024. It was my extended family's first time visiting NL so we rented Figgy Duff and Egg Down, as their beside one another; it worked out perfectly! They were spotless, comfortable beds, amazing views, and walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, Quidi Vidi and Signal hill. We had 2 large vehicles rented - Parking wasn't impossible just tight and tricky but at end we were pros! Not a complaint, more of a recommendation to elevate the deck with a beautiful lounge/patio set as we loved watching the fog roll, boats and cruise ships. Highly recommend and would return in a heart beat! Must do/ Highlightes: hiking Quidi Vidi, Signal hill (the long way up to cabot tower), bluerry picking, Petty harbour, Cape Spear, Screech in at Christian's pub (arrive 30 mins early), O'briens boat tour, The Parlor for ice cream, banneaman park, all the beautiful color house.

We had a lovely time at Rochelle’s place for a wedding! Beautiful view of the harbour and everything we needed for a great vacation!

Figgy Duff Cottage is the perfect place to stay and experience St John’s. We walked everywhere from the house. Downtown is a 10 min walk! Shopping and restaurants galore! The hike to Signal Hill was right behind the cottage. We spent one morning just watching ships come and go. Truly a unique experience to stay there. The cottage was immaculate. We will definitely stay there again.
